Q Read case study 13.1, “Choosing a Research Assistant” in Northouse (2016) on pages 350-351 and respond to the following questions: Of the four options available to Angi, which is the most ethical? Using the principles of distributive justice, who would Angi choose to become the research assistant? From Heifetz’s perspective, can Angi use this decision to help her department and faculty face a difficult decision? Should she? Do you agree with Burn’s perspective that it is Angi’s responsibility to help followers assess their own values and needs in order to raise them to a higher level that will stress values such as liberty, justice, and equality? 1. In the term of leadership the most important thing that appears for good leadership in keeping ethics in the top of the priority list. For the good ethical leadership, there are principles that make the foundation of it and that are respect, service, justice, honesty, and community (Northouse, 2016). According to these principles for ethical leadership, the leader should take any actions or measures that will benefit others and do not get involved in any such things that will harm or cause problems to others. For a good leader to do good leadership the ethics must be at the top.
